My First Post

Well, here we go! My first official blog post!

Let me begin by explaining what has pushed me to finally embark on this journey...my wonderful, funny, and handsome red-headed boyfriend (pictured below) has joined the Airforce Reserves, and has been sent across Canada for basic training (boot camp, essentially...) for the next 3 months. Needless to say, I miss him and am very lonely. Yes, I have my fabulous fur-baby, but Terran and I have never been a part for more than two weeks out of the 6 years we have been together, and this is quite the adjustment we are having to make. 

Ideally I would like to use my blogging platform to document my adventures with Theodore while Terran is away, sort of like a journal for Terran to look back on when he returns. I also want to journal my cross stitching as well, (WIPs, Finishes, Stash, Haul...you know, the good stuff!) 

I hope you will join me on my new blogging adventure, and please feel free to leave comments or any tips and tricks you may have! I am excited, and I hope to have a grand time posting, reading, photographing and sharing my passions.
